The Reality Of Owning Your Own Business
Hi, Folks.
While I'm thinking about how great this business is
and what a fantastic opportunity we are offering our Affiliates,
I wanted to take a moment to talk about a few of the realities
we need to be aware of if we want to succeed online.
We have now been in business since May, 2000.
(8+ years and still growing.
That's almost unheard of on the Internet.)
We have continued to grow year after year.
Our company has paid out more than $940,000 in commissions
since opening its doors.
This is a fantastic track record and things are just getting better
as we move along.
Yet still... we see people that just don't seem to get it.
There are a few realities that go along with building any business
and I want to take a moment to share some of them with everyone:

REALITY #1: If you want to make money, be prepared to work.
When someone tells me "I don't have time to work this system",
I have to just scratch my head. The reality is that this is
an excuse. We all have the exact same amount of time in the
day.
When I find myself feelling this same way, I have to remind
myself of something I read that pretty much summed it up
for me.
We all have the same amount of time.
We have the same 24 hours that Hellen Keller got.
We have the same 24 hours that Albert Einstein got.
We have the same 24 hours that Bill Gates gets.
We have the same 24 hours that everyone gets.
We choose how to use those 24 hours.
I remember very well what it is like to work 2 jobs.
This was with a wife and three children to support.
I would get up in the morning and go to job #1.
( I loved it.I was in sales).
When that shift was over, I would go to job #2.
(barman).In the evenings.
During the weekends, I would do whatever
odd jobs I could pick up. These would include carpentry,
cleaning cars at the local supermarket, etc...
Any thing to earn some extra cash
THEN... after doing that, I would still spend time learning
about the internet, online marketing, etc.... Sometimes, I
would get very little sleep or even no sleep at all before
I had to start that job cycle all over again!
I was always tired.
I was always frustrated.
I still was not making anywhere near enough money.
But I was also motivated because I knew I didn't want to continue
on that cycle of life.
I already knew that if i did nothing,nothing would ever change!
Eventually, I was able to replace those jobs as I
learned more and essentially made myself more valuable.
My time is now spent helping others just like you
to succeed online.
When someone tries to tell me, "You don't understand what
it's like to __________" I have to really be careful. My first
thought is usually anything but "kind".
I DO understand. I remember it all too well. And it was the
very thing that motivated me to never go back there again.
You may have a job. You may have 2 jobs... three jobs.
Here's the reality check: If you want to get out of those
jobs, you are going to have to spend the time to learn and
build your business.
If you want to take your life back, you are going to have
to spend the time and do the work. Even if that time is
during the late evening or early morning hours.
You don't necessarily have to stay up all night like I did.
You could decide to wake up 30 minutes earlier in the
morning or skip the late tv shows you may be watching.
I found that I could learn a LOT in that 30 minute time
slot I used to waste watching just one television show.
I used to watch more than one show, too. I would find
myself trying to "escape" by watching tv at night.
I used the excuse that I was "unwinding". We all know
that there is a difference between unwinding and just
wasting time. When I got serious about changing my
life, watching pointless tv shows was one of the first
things to go.

REALITY #2: You are going to have to study.
If you don't already know everything there is to know about
the internet and online marketing, guess what .. you are not
alone! NOBODY knows everything there is to know about it!
I am learning all the time.
When someone tells me, "I don't know how to set up the tools"
I tell them to log in to their back office and click on the
link titled "Training Articles". There, they will find the
step by step instructions for setting up the tools.
No matter what ever the campaign you promote
When someone tells me, "I don't know where to start." I tell
them "Start with the first training article.".
Am I trying to be a wise guy? No. I want everyone to see
that the answers to "what is this?, how do I set it up?"
etc... have already been answered. But if you don't actually
log in and read the training articles, you won't be able to
learn the system.
Each of us do need to take the time to read the training
articles so that we can learn what the system is and how
to use it to build our business & our own online income.
When I first got a computer, a friend of mine gave me one of
those FREE AOL disks. I laughed and tossed it aside thinking,
"What in the world would I do with that?!?".
Today, I make my living online. Believe me...
I had a LOT to learn when I started
and I'm still learning more every single day.
Don't be afraid to learn. Embrace every opportunity!
Quite frankly: The more you learn ... the more you can earn!

REALITY #3: You are going to have to actually spend some money.
This is just a fact of life and business in the real world.
How much money are we talking about? More to the fact how much can you afford
Well for example my #1 advertising tool is my auto-responder.
Believe it or not cost me a measly 59 cents a day.
Wow i spend 59 cents per day on the internets most powerful tool
I'm going to tell you that if you do have all that extra cash
to spend on advertising,Then you are one of the lucky ones
you have the initial advantage.
I can also tell you that
if you truly do not have money for any advertising, there are
so many free options available it hurts my head to think about
them all.
(You'll find a lot of them in your own campaign back office).
When someone tells me they cannot afford eg. 59 cents a day for
powerful business tools, unlimited training, and the opportunity
to build a truly unlimited income stream, I have to just scratch
my head again. (I do a lot of head scratching.)
Most of us blow a lot more money than that on junk that just
doesn't matter.How much do you spend on junk food in a week?
How much do you spend on specialty coffees in a week?
How much do you spend on soft drinks in a week?
How much do you spend on dining out in a week?
How much do you spend on movies in a month?
How much do you spend on all sorts of "usless extras"
Adjust any one of these by just a few dollars
and you have just made available more extra cash
that could fund your monthly subscription to your chosen campaign
It's a fact and I have yet to find one person that can disprove it.
Here's the fun part. When you Start making money and you can afford to
eat out, watch movies, and get those "extras" without it being
a burden on your finances.

This message could easily start to sound and feel like a lecture.
That is not my intention. These are just the realities of what it
means to succeed and if you will take them to heart, you will
succeed.
It starts with the first question:
What do you want?
It ends with the second question:
What are you willling to do in order to get it?
Pay the price.
Learn the material.
Spend the time.
Invest your efforts.
The pay-off is the life you've always wanted
but until now haven't achieved.
