Because they all have their own permanent coffee ground filter, you never need to buy any paper throw away filters!! NICE feature! Of course if you have those standard #1 cone paper filters you can always se those instead, but why waste the money!
Great small space coffee makers! Also makes a great travel companion when going on a road trip or when camping or boating. It only takes approx 6.3 amps of AC power while running through a cycle and it will work perfectly off of a 800 WATT INVERTER as I already tried it so I know!
I use mine all the time on remote jobsites, camping trips, boating, and so on - so I never have to waste money on buying coffee at those ridiculous roach coach or Star*ucks prices!! At $4-5 dollars for a cup of Star*ucks coffee - I mean give me a break - I can buy a whole 12oz can of store coffee for less then $2 at RITE AID when it's on sale!! Makes over 40-50 cups of coffee per 12 oz can too! That's saving like $160-200 on Star*ucks coffee alone!
