Cozy, private, and quiet, this 100% turn-key chalet-style cabin sleeps 10 {2 KING, 2 bunk, a new queen-size sofa bed in the living room, and 2 comfortable queen-size air mattresses so 2 adults can each have their own, or they should adequately sleep 4 kids}. In keeping true to its vintage architectural heritage, it provides everything on one level with original hardwood floors, cathedral ceilings, and exposed beams. It additionally offers new furniture and rugs. The dining table comes with a leaf for expanded seating capacity, with 2 additional/similar chairs located in the bunk bedroom. There is also a bistro set on the brand-new/beautiful/large/elevated side deck to enjoy outdoor meals, coffee, and/or cocktails "in the woods".

This cabin is conveniently located near the Gatlinburg Convention Center, the Ober Gatlinburg ski slopes, Dollywood, Smoky Mountains National Park, AND Gatlinburg's famous downtown "strip" on Parkway of popular shops, restaurants, and entertainment! It is a short stroll to East Parkway where you can hop a free trolley to the Gatlinburg Community/Swim Center {http://gatlinburgtn.gov/recreation/community-center/}, Rocky Top Sports World, Ripley's Aquarium, and Rafting in the Smokies ~ all just a few blocks away. {Many guests simply park at the post office and grab a trolley from there whenever they want to go downtown}.^

AMENITIES: WiFi, telephone {free/unlimited local/long-distance calls}, 4 cable televisions, radios, stereos, 5 CD players, 3 DVD players, 2 VCR's, alarm clocks, hair dryers, an iron/ironing board, air conditioning, heating, 2 electric fireplaces, a computer printer, a washer/dryer {new/stackable/full-size}, a pantry, a fully-equipped kitchen {disposal, dishwasher, microwave, blender, mixer, toaster, skillet, food processor, coffee maker, tea kettle, utensils, dishes, pots/pans, picnic cooler, cookbooks, assorted cooking spices, etc.}, 2 wood decks, a Weber charcoal grill, an outdoor fireplace, a carport, AND a driveway that can accommodate 3 vehicles. 2 main bedrooms with kings have private en suites {one provides tub/shower combo and one provides shower}. Abundant games, toys, pillows, linens, blankets, and towels are also provided for your convenience. {If you do not see a particular amenity posted here or within the listing, it is NOT available at this property}.

Wheelchair Accessibility ~ The entire house is on one level, and the owner can provide a portable/adjustable wheelchair threshold ramp upon request. However, the property is NOT officially wheelchair accessible.

*IMPORTANT: In an effort to reduce the overwhelming inquiries we receive about availability, rates, holiday premiums, minimum nights required during certain holidays, and location, PLEASE check them here {they ARE correct and current} and read ALL of the posted details PRIOR to contacting us. We are always happy to promptly answer any other questions. Or, please let us know if/when you are ready to book a reservation. We will then send you an itemization to review that reflects exactly what is posted here. Due to time constraints, frivolous inquiries ~ generic, those with no message, those that request information already posted, those for more than 10 persons {would exceed local fire code laws}, those that request a "quote" or "total" {just multiply the number of nights by the posted rate, add the posted cleaning charge, and add any applicable holiday premium}, and those that request a rate reduction are deleted. Any taxes are included in the rates. Thank you!

**HOLIDAY PREMIUMS: Please add $25 to EACH night of the reservation if it includes {even on check-out day} ANY holiday other than the following: Please add $35 to EACH night of the reservation if it includes MLK Day, President's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, or Labor Day. Please add $50 to EACH night of the reservation if it includes Valentine's Day {$85 extra PER NIGHT if both Valentine's Day and President's Day are included}, Easter {$85 extra PER NIGHT if both Good Friday and Easter are included}, July 4, Thanksgiving, Christmas {deluxe Christmas tree stand provided}, or New Year's Eve/Day {$100 extra PER NIGHT if both Christmas and New Year's Eve/Day are included}. Please disregard highlighted dates on posted Availability Calendar, since they only indicate major national holidays. Holiday premiums are waived on Monthly rentals.

***PLEASE NOTE: Weekly rates are based on 8 days/7 nights. Simply prorate fewer or additional nights. There is a 4 NIGHT MINIMUM if a national holiday is included, even on check-out day. There is a 6 NIGHT MINIMUM if JULY 4TH, THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS, OR NEW YEAR'S EVE/DAY is included, even on check-out day. {Minimum nights are non-negotiable}. Check-in can commence on any day of the week, if available, and we do not charge extra for weekends. Check-in is 4:00 P.M. and check-out is 11:00 A.M. Eastern Time.

CLEANING CHARGE: There is a standard departure Cleaning Charge of $75 added to each reservation. {ALL vacation rentals have a cleaning fee in addition to their posted rates}.

PAYMENT OPTIONS: Due to popular demand, we accept PayPal {MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, and debit cards} only. PayPal does not require users to have a PayPal account. Also, the merchant {property owner} NEVER sees the user's {guest's} credit card information AND the merchant pays all fees {3%}. The user's data can NOT be hacked! Additionally, since all merchants are thoroughly and regularly vetted, there is NO safer or more secure payment method on the planet. Never provide your credit card information online to a third party {i.e., vacation rental site such as HA or Airbnb} that charges you fees AND has unlimited access to make unauthorized charges to your account, which are extremely difficult to contest. Sorry, PayPal is not available for Monthly rentals.

DEPOSITS: To keep our rates so low, we must keep our administration costs low. Therefore, the full rental amount is due to confirm a reservation, including the posted Cleaning Charge and a REFUNDABLE Damage Deposit {25% of base rental amount or $250, whichever is greater}. This is standard policy of virtually all PayPal merchants, since we do not obtain our guests' confidential credit card information as collateral. Signed rental agreement required that must be properly executed and returned within 48-hours of receipt, or reservation will be automatically canceled {see below for cancellation fee}. Guest who signs the rental agreement must be of legal age {proof required}, which is 21 in Tennessee.

DISCOUNTS: Our "best" rates are those posted and are FIRM. We do not offer any "last minute" deals, specials, or government discounts {although we love and appreciate those who serve!} However, we deduct 50% from the Nightly rate for reservations of 30 nights or more.

^LOCATION: The cabin is located on West Loop Road. For obvious privacy/security reasons, we never disclose the street number to strangers over the Internet. It is, of course, specified on the rental agreement. Please Google or MapQuest distances to points of personal interest {downtown, restaurants, shops, attractions, buildings, etc.} from the property's road. We are just not able to provide these types of personalized services, due to the high volume of requests we receive daily from potential guests. We appreciate your understanding. Please note that since the cabin is situated on a mountain, a 4-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle is recommended, particularly during snowy weather. The property is located within Gatlinburg city limits, so its PAVED road gets plowed on a regular basis when it snows!

CANCELLATION POLICY: If reservation is canceled 60 days or more prior to arrival date, full reservation amount {including damage deposit and cleaning charge} will be immediately refunded in full, minus a $50 cancellation fee. Otherwise, full reservation amount {excluding damage deposit} subject to forfeit. NO REFUND IS PROVIDED FOR RESERVATIONS THAT INCLUDE JULY 4TH, THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS, OR NEW YEAR'S EVE/DAY. We encourage all of our guests to simply purchase trip insurance from a separate entity {i.e., CSA @ TravelSecure.com or 800-348-9505 ~ #1 rated by Consumer Reports} if there is a chance they may need to cancel outside the stated time frame.
